I posted on Wednesday and it never showed up!! It was sushi from Sushi Avenue. I will have to find that picture again and redo it. For now, here is the lasagna I made last week and ate for 4 days straight.

Chickfila Peach Milkshake
Peach milkshakes from Chickfila are the best! I wish they had them all year and not just during the summer. I had my first one last summer when I was working at Triangle Orthopaedics in Durham and had a Chickfila right next door in the parking lot. I'm kind of glad they sell them in small sizes now though!

Einstein Bros. Bagels
I took a 5 minute suicide prevention survey at school last week and got a $5 gift card to Einstein Bros as my incentive :). So that meant that Wednesday for lunch at work I enjoyed a nice outside lunch. I got broccoli and cheese soup and a 5 cheese bagel with regular cream cheese. I also got their raspberry lemonade. I think the lady charged me wrong because it only cost $5.45, which was convenient for my gift card amount but I know that lemonade had to have cost more than under a dollar. Well it was an enjoyable lunch anyways, I read my Atlanta magazine where I get all my ideas about where to try new restaurants. I also got a little sunburned, but it was such a nice day outside.

Cuban Food
Koo, Whitney, Ana and I had Cuban food at Papi's last weekend http://www.papisgrill.com/ I made the mistake of getting the vegetarian plate, which just had some stir fry vegetables with the rice, beans and plantains. Koo got this AMAZING pork that I had to steal some of. I found out you can't go to a Cuban restaurant and order vegetarian.

Leon's Full Service
Yesterday was Cassandra's birthday and she, Cassie, Whitney, Ana and I went to Leon's Full Service in Decatur to celebrate. It was a gorgeous day so we sat outside. I had read about their frenchfries in Atlanta Magazine and we ended up getting 2 orders. They have 14 dipping sauces you can choose from. We got the madras curry ketchup, smoked tomato mayonnaise (THE BEST), goat cheese fondue, garlic aioli, and regular ketchup. SOOOO good. And the fries were the perfect texture of crunchy and not too oily. http://www.leonsfullservice.com/

Jamaican Lunch
At work today I got leftovers from the doctor's meeting and we had Jamaican food. I didn't eat the chicken because it had bones in it. What I did eat was some sort of cabbage and vegetable mix, spinach in a vegetable sauce, and fried plantains. Lots of fruits and veggies! Although I guess it doesn't count if they are fried or drowned in oil. O well!

Amedeo's
I ate at Amedeos with my family Sunday night before flying back to Atlanta in the morning. Needless to say I could NOT finish all of that pasta. It's waiting in the freezer for me to come home again in 2 weeks. It's their seafood lasagna and SOOOO good. I can't wait to get back to it. I was also surprised at how good the salad was. They have homemade thousand island dressing and I don't remember the salads being so big. The one other amazing thing was the BREAD. It was better than ever. Love Amedeos! http://www.amedeosrestaurant.com/

Sushi Blues
Ofcourse I had to eat at Sushi Blues while I was home. It will always be my ABSOLUTE favorite sushi place. I went with Kelsey and Angela on Thursday. We went during regular hours not half off so we got the little noodle appetizer and Angela and I got Sinatras (they taste like Key Lime Pie!!). The sushi rolls I got were cotton club (w/ no cucumber) and the Wolfpack, with eel sauce on the side. YUMMMM. Nothing in the whole world is better tasting!
I have been slacking!

Airport Pizza
Ate this pizza when I was waiting for my flight home on Wednesday. Notice how they put a huge hunk of broccoli stem at the bottom. Not very thoughtful. Otherwise it was good. I got to the airport about 2.5 hours before my flight because I was so nervous. Luckily Ana was able to drive me to the MARTA station on short notice (Thank you!) and it was so easy to just ride stright to the airport on the train. My gate was even changed and I had to go back and forth between 3 terminals but I still had plenty of time.

Rosa Mexicano
Last Friday Whitney, Ana and I ate lunch at Rosa Mexicano while shopping at Atlantic Station. It was AMAZING. They make guacamole right at your table and I LOVE guacamole. I got the enchiladas rancheras with spinach and cheese inside. It tasted so authentic. The sauce on top had a more tomato saucey flavor than generic mexican places and I really liked it. Great place to go! I haven't been to an upscale Mexican place in a long time. http://www.rosamexicano.com/Default.aspx

Yogurt Tap again
Ana and I went back to Yogurt Tap in Decatur (http://www.theyogurttap.com/) and this was my newest creation! Although I went a little crazy this time and it was more expensive....I just love the taste of the original yogurt with little bits of white chocolate, fruit and nuts.

Easter Brunch
Today I ate Easter Brunch at La Tavola (http://www.latavolatrattoria.com/) in Virginia Highlands. I got the spinach, cheese, and basil fritatta with a salad and roasted potatoes. Ana was telling me how to make salad dressing that I think is like the one on this salad with half olive oil and half lemon juice. I can't wait to try it because I just don't like store bought salad dressing. I eat it because I like salad, but it's just not very good and usually not healthy. I hope everyone had a happy Easter!
